This measure would increase public school funding by 50% over the next 10 years, without raising taxes. The money must go toward better teacher pay, keeping good teachers, smaller classes, and more career and technical education.
97% of Colorado taxpayers would get a tax cut under this measure. Only income above $500,000, for individuals and corporations, would be taxed at a higher rate. Every new dollar must go to K-12 schools, health care, and child care, and an outside group will check each year that the money is spent the right way.
Locks Colorado into a 4.4% income tax rate, making it harder to pay for the services our communities need and keeping more of the tax burden on working people.
